“ Amazing - the service, the food & the atmosphere were top notch! Especially our bartender/waiter Alexandros!! To start off, I was there last night with a good friend, our experience, was a bit rocky at first. They had a sunset hour menu but was relatively hidden because it was only available at the bar, which I wasn’t told about it when I was seated. We only knew about the menu because my friend stumbled upon it on their website previously. For the amount of people there, I was surprised they gave us hell about not being able to order the sunset menu unless we were seated at the bar. However, nonetheless we decided to change our seat and head over to the bar, which was the best move! The watermelon salad they offered was refreshing. We then ordered almost everything off the sunset menu I to try, which included salmon sashimi, tuna tartare, truffle fries & veggie chips. To top it off we also ordered a lobster pasta. The food came out delicious, especially the truffle fries, which I couldn’t keep my hands off of. The lobster pasta was a good portion served 1/2 lobster whole and about 1/2 lobster mixed in the pasta. I had a psaraki spritz, as I didn’t know about the sunset menu when I ordered, but I won’t knock it because it was delicious and refreshing! My friend ordered a few of their “Have-a-Margarita”. Then we tried some mango-margarita shot and those were delicious!! To end the night we enjoyed a delicious traditional Greek dessert, bogusta! The staff were very friendly, fun and efficient! A good part about sitting at the bar was Alexandros! He was teaching us about Greece and explained some of the food for us. Since he was at the bar consistently, he was available whenever we needed service. Totally made the entire dinner and definitely made up for the rocky start. I would totally recommend coming here & sitting at the bar, if it’s weekday. If it’s weekend or after 7, the other tables offer a gorgeous view of the east river, which provides a picturesque backdrop for your photos. To the management, I’d suggest giving offering the sunset menu or something similar to the non-bar seat area. ”
